

Kenneth Lowrie is an Executive Vice President and Partner with Novia Strategies with over 25 years experience in provider healthcare. Ken has in-depth experience in acute care health systems, long term care and institutional settings. He is an expert in clinical supply chain management and pharmaceuticals. He formerly led the ancillary advisory practice at a publicly traded consulting company, served as Senior Vice President of Operations for a Fortune 25 medical supply/pharmaceutical distributor’s consulting practice, and was Executive Director of Professional Services for a Health System.
Ken made significant achievements in enterprise cost reduction and business process improvement on behalf of hospital clients by focusing on opportunities within clinical and professional departments. He implemented and expanded blood management and antimicrobial surveillance programs, developed radiology contrast agent algorithms and usage guidelines that lowered cost and enhanced patient care. He has significantly impacted collectible revenue in outpatient practice settings such as oncology.
A leader in Operations Redesign, Ken led multiple re-engineering efforts across numerous practice settings including large academic teaching institutions, for-profit hospital settings, federally owned institutions, private non-profit health systems, and other provider healthcare settings.
Ken has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He is an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Department of Health Care Administration at Trinity University for 2011, and has been licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in Texas, a Pharmacy Doctor in Arkansas, and a Doctor of Pharmacy in Oklahoma. Ken is a member of ACHE, AHRMM, ASHP and HFMA. He also served as an Expert Witness in prior litigation involving the Federal 340B Drug Purchasing Program.
