Hospitals are under pressure to ensure Patient Safety. Increased public scrutiny, “watchdog organizations”, and government agencies are creating more demands for regulations to prevent, monitor, and report healthcare errors and injuries. Even though Patient Safety has been a primary focus since the IOM publication of “To Err is Human” in 1999, hospitals continue to struggle with this issue. There is no magic bullet. However, Novia Strategies understands the complexities of patient care and the challenge to create and sustain a safe environment. Analysis, action, and communication are keys to the prevention of errors and injuries.
Novia Strategies has experienced consultants equipped to help your organization identify unsafe practices and develop corrective actions and policies to improve and sustain Patient Safety. Our goal is to help you create a Patient Safety program customized to your organization’s unique needs. We pride ourselves on ensuring the gains are sustained by our consultants transferring knowledge and leaving you with an operational dashboard for Patient Safety.
